SES: Parent Expo on March 6

Stainton Elementary will host its annual Parent Expo on Saturday March 6 from 9 a.m.- noon. This year the keynote speaker will be Robert Little, nationally renown author and motivational speaker. Little will present his keynote speech, "Parents as Teachers." Stainton teachers and students will be presenting their International Museum during the Parent Expo as well, showcasing classroom arts integration from various countries. This year this event was made possible by a grant from the Mississippi Arts Commission. Little will also do a presentation and book signing for students at Stainton on Friday March 5 at 1 p.m. All Laurel School District parents are invited to attend Stainton's Parent Expo. |
